The Disney Dream, Disney's new, 4,000-passenger cruise ship is getting all of the press this week, but it's not the only new thing at Disney, where officials know that families will return year after year, especially if there are new attractions for them to ride, see and experience.

At Walt Disney World, a new multi-media techno show transforms the Cinderella castle into a 3D screen. The show changes daily to include 500 photos shot THAT DAY of visitors to the park. The "Let the Memories Begin" show will be rolled out to other parks around the world as well.

At Animal Kingdom, there's a new African safari and Epcot has two new restaurants (Mexican and southern Italian).

Around the globe, 2011 will be a big year for Disney. According to Alan Weiss, president of Disney Parks and Resorts, there are more new projects under development around the world than at any time in the company's history.

That includes a new resort in Hawaii, a planned resort in Shanghai, a new Art of Animation resortin Florida and an expanded Fantasyland area at Disney World.

And, of course, a second huge Disney Dream-like cruise ship will launch n 2012.
