Powered by the jump in oil prices, the cost of getting around is rising faster than most family budgets can keep up.
Even driving is pricey. I just spent $75 to gas up the SUV and stopped there only because I couldn't stand the thought of spending more than that in one stop at the pump. Fortunately, I don't drive much, so that tank should last a while.
However, I do fly a lot and airline ticket prices are jumping as airlines try to recoup their rising fuel costs (as if it wasn't bad enough the airlines nickle and dime us with an ever-growing list of add-on fees).
