Second City Baby
Finding personalized baby gifts makes for a great gift, but finding high-quality, nicely-designed pieces is like finding a matching shoe on the rack at Babies' R Us. That's why when I heard of this trunk show for a new online store Makaboo, I had to alert you all.
Mākaboo.com (pronounced MAKE-A-BOO), a new website for classic and fine quality baby and children's gifts where custom embroidery is included in each order, is hosting its first Chicago trunk show! You can join Mākaboo founder Cindy Teasdale McGowan at Fritz Pastry in the heart of Lakeview and get in on the sale of items like this Baby Maren burp cloth:
Here's the invite to the event:
All of Mākaboo' s darling gifts will be on display - including special holiday items not online yet! - and all purchases placed that day will be 20% off the online price.
Date/Time: Saturday, October 2, 2:00PM-6:00PM
Location: Fritz Pastry
1408 West Diversey Parkway
Chicago, IL 60614
RSVP: Ann-Marie Nieves, firstname.lastname@example.org
I unfortunately cannot make it, but here's hoping it's worth the visit. If the website is any indication, I think you'll be finding some great holdiay gifts there.
