If you're sick of hearing me chat about my son's first birthday party, well... you're not the only one. The child may be only one, but he had three different celebrations spread over three different days, with... you guessed it... three different pieces of cake.

If you ever thought I was skimping by throwing him a laid-back pizza party at Pequod's Pizza (which was AWESOME, btw), think again. Because after a celebration (+ cupcake) at our mom and tot class, the family party (+ another cupcake) on his real birthday on Saturday, AND the kiddie party yesterday over pizza (+ a huge piece of cake... I splurged), I think I did good by my second child.

Even with the scheduling of the party over the time change (a critical sleep miscalculation) everyone played well, ate well and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. And the cake (have I mentioned that yet)

If only I posted photos of my children online, you could see his little cherubic face enjoying every part of every piece of his weekend. He is not my one and only, but he's one and that was enough for me to make it as sweet as possible.
