With the official turn to summer, you are probably starting to see garage sales pop up everywhere. If you’re crazed like me, then you might also begin to plan one for your own treasures (and make a little bit of money on the side!) I’m raising money for a future Habitat trip I’m taking later this year, so these pins come at the perfect time for me.
Here are some helpful tips to keep your garage sales organized AND keep your sanity.
Start with a checklist that will help you get organized. Next, start to consider the psychology that goes into setting up your garage sale and getting customers to visit you. It’s actually more of a science than you think.
One of the biggest parts of creating your garage sale is to advertise and with these printables you can do that in a fun and stylish way. I also recommend pricing to sell. Just by doing that, you can garner more money than you ever thought possible.
This round-up of helpful tips will give you the tools you need to ensure that your sale goes well. It doesn’t hurt to peruse these tips in the days leading up to your sale so that you can be best prepared for the unexpected. Finally, make sure to be organized as that can make all the difference in displaying your items and getting them ready to be sold!
One of my other favorite elements of a garage sale is having children sell lemonade. Not only is it a great draw to your sale, but it allows them to begin to learn the fine art of selling. (Plus, they somehow sell lemonade for 25 cents and end up making even more than that easily!)
