Time for coffee, conversation and compromise. Have a sit-down with your neighbors. Discuss what you both expect and enjoy (focus on the positive) in your home/community. Work together. Maybe there are free-for-all times and quiet times for the kids. A sense of community is important for children; learning to compromise is an important skill. Work toward this end.
