
Who the heck hasn't lost it one time or another? I think the real question is how often is it acceptable before it becomes a major concern? After my episode, I ask my kid for a hug and explain that this is not the best way to handle things, but everyone needs to freak out once in a while. I then ask her for ideas to calm down to avoid screaming, and she loves that since she becomes the helper.
