We talk about how it feels when we're disappointed, then we dissect what happened. We lead our kids to understand that disappointment can be a great time to learn. We're all allowed to "feel how we feel" about things. But then, it's a matter of either stewing, complaining, resenting and holding grudges vs. accepting what happened, taking something positive from it, and moving on.
