Even after my first child was born, I still didn't think I ever wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. But after my third, I chose to opt out of my career to raise my boys. I'm grateful that I've been able to focus on my family for the past six and a half years. While I know that my boys will always need me, I also see a change in the near future when I hope to return to balancing my family and my career.
