If my child were a bully and I had no clue, I would definitely be asking myself, "Where did I go wrong" and "Why me?" However, this matter is of great importance and I would call for a meeting with the teacher and/or principal to discuss my child's behavior. I would speak with my child and find out if there are any self-esteem issues or any anger issues, or if my child has been a victim of bullying himself. And I would give him/her consequences for his behavior. Lastly, if there was no success with all of the above, my next step would be 1:1 therapy.
