Another warm weekend in Chicago means more barbecues! And what delicious dessert to add? How about greek yogurt chocolate chip cookies? Serve these heavenly cookies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and everyone will thank you.

My daughter had fun measuring, mixing, and eating them, of course!

Greek Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½ package chocolate chips
  • ½ stick of butter
  • ¼ vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 white sugar
  • 1/3 brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 ¼ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine all ingredients and stir until smooth.

Chill dough in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Using a tsp, place chilled dough on greased baking sheet.

Bake 9-11 minutes.
