About this blog
Parenting is like a roller coaster ride. Heady highs, belly-churning lows. You strap in for a long, thrilling ride, yet in a blink, your snuggly newborn is suddenly rushing out the door without so much as a wave goodbye.
The parents at Chicago Parent know how it feels. With 22 kids and 145 years of parenting experience between us, we've seen highs and lows, learned a ton, and slipped up more than any of us would like to admit. And the one thing that's become clear from our gatherings around the office coffee pot is that there's no such thing as the perfect parent.
So join us in a conversation about our favorite topics. We can't wait to hear from you.
