Families in the Loop
April showers bring May flowers! With all the curl-up-on-the-couch weather mostly (we hope!) behind us, we are celebrating the warmth and sunshine, Families in the Loop style. It's time to pack up the gloves littering the hall closet floor, refresh the fridge's one-year-old Arm & Hammer baking soda, and purchase those sexy new shoes you've been eyeing. It's time for a fun and feisty spring!
With the launch of the first of our monthly themes, Chicago Families in Bloom, FITL's making it a cinch to rejuvenate yourself, and your family, this spring. Feel like the kids, significant other, home and job are always taking priority? We hear you! Through our online articles, events and hookups, you'll have a chance to indulge in some "me time" while discovering tips and must-haves for the whole family.
FITL's Chicago Families in Bloom offers local parents fresh and informative perspectives on everything from the latest hair fashion, hot kids toys, estate planning, food, cooking, sex, and more. Check in frequently to find articles from our newest partner, Chicago Athletic Clubs. They're bringing the latest health trends, expertise and oodles of encouragement to the FITL community. It's the perfect way to get the scoop, feel great and have a blast while doing it.
Also in May, FITL's planning some amazing events for grown-ups and little ones. At the Celebrating Moms event at the Kenmore Live Studio on May 7, moms and dads will be jazzing up their spring style with makeovers and more from the Marianne Strokirk Salon, Bonnie & Clyde's and Chicago Athletic Clubs. The following week, on May 15th, families from around the city will come together for FITL's next Brunch & Boogie featuring local talent Zeke Sulkes. Arts and crafts, live music, delicious food: It's a Magic Carpet Ride you won't want to miss!
We wish you a joyful season and a much-deserved dose of feel-good, look-good fun for the month of May. You deserve it! As always, we'll see you in the loop!
