6_10-eight3oneI like hidden meanings.

In this case, however, I can't keep eight3one a secret.

What's behind the cryptic name?

It refers to a common but never overused expression we use every day when we're not scraping prunes off the kitchen ceiling or tripping over toy trucks in the middle of the night.

It's "I love you."

Eight = eight letters in the expression

3 = three words make it up

One = one very simple, heartfelt meaning

How cool is that?

Mod-minded creators Sven and Aimee - both are graphic designers, parents and expert silk-screeners - came up with that humdinger of a name along with a chic line of cool, hip, slightly edgy styles when their search for Fifth Avenue-meets-globally-minded baby wear left them empty-handed.

The result is a cache of 100% cotton, sweat shop-free, certified fair trade onesies and tees (organic, too), bedecked with whimsical designs, like Partridge Family-esque birds, old school bikes and cars.

Most are available in both short and long sleeves, and all are super soft, worn-in comfy, and tagless - an added bonus for sensitive little necks.
