Disney Channel gets preschoolers dancing to an 80's beat

Without dating myself too much, I think it's fair
to say I love Devo as much as the next gal old enough to remember
Smurfs, tight-rolled jeans and crimped hair.
Disney Channel appears to feel the same way about awesome 80's throwbacks, and aims to get preschoolers dancing to a new beat with the premiere of new Playhouse Disney short-form series called Dance-A-Lot Robot.
Airing on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 6:25 a.m. ET/PT, the new series is all about supporting Disney's ongoing commitment to helping kids and parents achieve healthier lifestyles by getting preschoolers to enjoy physical fun.
The animation, live-action combo will star Dance-A-Lot, a robot with rhythm who teaches preschoolers simple dance steps including the robot, the blue jay, the dinosaur stomp and the clock, all set to the music of Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh.
PlayhouseDisney.com will feature a "flip book" highlighting a variety of dance moves from the series.

Jennifer, you're so welcome! I'm thinking my kiddos will like it, too, since they're currently dancing fools :) Excited to see what this will be like.
