Disney's annual D23 Expo - billed as the ultimate fan event - wrapped earlier this week with a special Storytelling session that included a trip to the "Disney Story Vault" with actor and dad David Arquette.

"Reading books are so important because it really helps to develop imagination and really starts getting the brain working in all different ways."

"Right now my daughter and I are reading Alice in Wonderland," said David Arquette, voice of Skully from Disney Junior's hit series "Jake and the Never Land Pirates."

Post-event, Disney announced the donation of $500,000 and 8 million Disney Publishing Worldwide books to non-profit organization First Book.
