Brand new exhibit is dedicated to the special animals in our
lives. Kids can become their favorite animal, crawl in, out and
around a child-sized pet home, and share stories about the pets in
their life. Parents can learn the benefits of pets and pet play,
and access resources for choosing appropriate family pets.
Scenes from the Stone Age: The Cave Paintings of
Lascaux transports visitors to the Lascaux cave in France,
where they'll discover prehistoric cave paintings. Walk through a
full-sized replica of the cave, meet a lifelike stone-age family
and play with interactive displays explaining the life of people
who may have inhabited the cave.

glowworms dangling from the ceiling of New Zealand's famous Waitomo
Caves, to the deep-sea fishes that illuminate the perpetually dark

against a predator, and see how scientists study this amazing
ability to glow.
Special exhibit showcases 80 rarely displayed artifacts from the
museum's extensive collection in honor of the museum's 80th
anniversary. These artifacts, carefully selected by MSI curators,
will ignite guests' memories from past exhibits but many will be
revealed for the first time.
