Visitors go on an interactive journey through the world of ancient Greece, where they can meet the gods, experience ancient Greek daily life and interact with the epic poem The Odyssey through more than 25 engaging interactive components, including climbing into a 13-foot tall Trojan Horse. Kids play and learn as they navigate rocky caves and open seas on "The Odyssey: A Hero's Journey" and e-mail home their Hero Record, belt tunes in the Sirens Karaoke Cave, discover which Greek god they are most like, match wits with Aristotle in a game of 20 questions, test their arm wrestling prowess in the Gymnasium and marvel at a working replica of the Antikythera Mechanism, believed to be the world's oldest computer.

American Girl Dinner and Chicago's First Lady River Cruise| Chicago |

A docent from the Chicago Architecture Foundation guides through the design of some of the world's most famous buildings along the riverfront, and provides captivating stories about important events the American Girl historical characters might have experienced. Told through a musical narrative, this play seeks to revive the ghosts of those who drowned in the Chicago disaster of 1915, when families were torn apart and unexpected heroes emerged to rescue dozens of Chicagoans from a watery end. Runs from June 6-July 29.

Knight & Princess Training| Schaumburg |

The new Princess Training is hosted by Princess Catalina, who shares the important traits essential to becoming a Princess while the Princesses-in-Training create their own Princess Hat. The session ends with a tutorial on the proper and perfect princess curtsy. Knight Training is hosted by Lord Chancellor and King Don Carlos. Children learn about the bravery and skills required of a knight while also receiving hands-on instruction on the core sword fighting moves every Knight must master. At the culmination of this experience, the King dubs all participants Knights of his realm.

Family Space at Ravinia| Highland Park |

Ravinia will host a free family space on the north lawn prior to selected CSO concerts. Activities include music-related crafts, storytelling and an instrument petting zoo where kids can touch and play instruments. The family space will be open from 3-4:30 p.m. prior to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra concerts on July 8, 15, 29 and Aug. 5.
