Special exhibit showcases 80 rarely displayed artifacts from the
museum's extensive collection in honor of the museum's 80th
anniversary. These artifacts, carefully selected by MSI curators,
will ignite guests' memories from past exhibits but many will be
revealed for the first time.

that have been preserved through the process of
Plastination. From goats to giraffes and octopuses to
ostriches, guests will see the inner workings of some of the
world's most impressive animals and better understand the evolution
of animals and the natural world.

natural world and to each other. Sights, smells and tastes
benchmark the story of food as it journeys into our stomachs and

time creating art as they need; gently guided by our artist in
residence. We provide a plethora of both recycled and new
materials, ideas for projects (or children can create by their own
