Watch Us Grow: Monarch Butterflies

Kids can learn about the four stages of butterfly development and explore how animals change and adapt through the metamorphosis process. Signage explains the egg and caterpillar stages of butterfly growth, and live specimens of pupa and adult butterflies demonstrate the final two stages of growth.

Scenes from the Stone Age

Field Museum | Chicago, Ill.

Scenes from the Stone Age: The Cave Paintings of Lascaux transports visitors to the Lascaux cave in France, where they'll discover prehistoric cave paintings. Walk through a full-sized replica of the cave, meet a lifelike stone-age family and play with interactive displays explaining the life of people who may have inhabited the cave.
