Multicultural exhibit offers children a chance to become acquainted with other children from around the world. Features children from 11 countries such as Russia, India, Tanzania and Egypt and showcases how they learn, work and play through interactive activities such as playing games, making crafts, learning words in another language and even putting on a puppet show.

Annual event includes African dancing, live music, readings and children's activities. Kathryn M. Harris takes the stage as Harriet Tubman, and Glennette Tilley Turner  gives listeners further insight into the Underground Railroad.

Event organizers aim to collect 40,000 books, DVDs and CDs in six hours. Signs will guide donors into the warehouse's parking lot and the Open Books team will unload vehicles and provide donation receipts. Open Books has played a prominent role in advancing in the city's literacy mission.

Free, all-ages interactive event featuring live music performances and appearances by top action sports athletes. International pros, XGames legends, and the Metal Mulisha fly through the air in gravity-defying demonstrations of the best of Skateboard, BMX and Freestyle Motocross in a 60,000 square-foot "action sports playground" of ramps and jumps.
