Stroll the streets of downtown Plainfield for special family events throughout the day. Hope the Bunny Trail from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., enjoy breakfast or lunch with the bunny, or visit the face painters and balloon artists.

Sugar in the sugar bowl comes from sugar cane or sugar beets. But what about honey, molasses, raisins or maple syrup? Learn more about all kinds of sugar.

Learn about the sun, our nearest star, and view the sun through a properly filtered telescope under the supervision of the staff astronomer (clear skies permitting). If weather is inclement, a slide/lecture program will be presented. Register by April 5.

Navy Pier's Family Pavilion is transformed into a town filled with numerous interactive characters, live music, games and more. Watch Mother Goose and her friends act out our favorite stories, take family photos with Bonny Bunny (through April 8), and listen to The Chicken or the Egg Orchestra.

View an array of student poster projects exploring ways to reduce, reuse and recycle and learn how to become a greener citizen. Runs April 3-May 6.

Includes crafts, a walk-through Easter story and breakfast, followed by an enormous Easter egg hunt. Held rain or shine. A responsible adult should accompany children.

Kids will see to Tin Tin adventures, "Les 7 boules de cristal," followed by "Le temple du soleil" (in Frendh with English subtitles). Parents are welcome to stay with kids.
