Wonder Works allows children to spend as much, or as little,
time creating art as they need; gently guided by our artist in
residence. We provide a plethora of both recycled and new
materials, ideas for projects (or children can create by their own
design) and hours of opportunity to explore their creative

An all new family fable featuring sea shanties, wild mechanical
objects, theatrical clowning, hand-painted imagery, shadow puppets
and an innovative sound design. Performances are April 10-May
26, 2013 at Chicago Children's Theatre's new home, the Ruth
Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn, Chicago.
Family-friendly 6:30 p.m. Thursday shows are preceded with a free

The children's musical will be presented from April 24 through
June 1. Regular performances are at 10 a.m. Wednesday through
Friday and Saturdays at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. (except for Saturday, May
4). There will also be a 10 a.m.performance Tuesday, April 30. A
meet-and-greet breakfast with the characters is offered on
April 27, May 11, May 18, May 25, and June 1 at 11:30 a.m., with
the performance at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. The Breakfast Buffet
package price for adults is $25 and $22 for children 12 and
Oliver follows the adventures of young orphan Oliver Twist.
Forced into the scheming underworld of pick-pocketing, Oliver finds
himself caught in a tug-of-war with his family and the sinister
characters he has met in the streets of London. Performances run
April 4-June 2, 2013.
