International Polar Bear Day| Brookfield |

Guests can write a pledge to reduce their carbon footprint on life-size polar bear statues. Kids participate in polar bear-themed activities, including tracing and decorating their carbon footprint, and hands-on learning in an activity that features helping miniature polar bear figures navigate ice floes in a sensory bin filled with water. Zookeepers host a Zoo Chat at 11:30 a.m. and share interesting facts about Brookfield Zoo's polar bears. Guests are also encouraged to join the Thermostat Challenge, an effort to raise awareness about how daily actions impact polar bears and their sea ice habitat.
