The ComedySportz Crew Meets The Snow Queen

The ComedySportz crew gets in the Imagination Machine to visit the Snow Queen, in this version of the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen. They'll meet a goblin who shatters a mirror that makes you only see bad things, a Summer Sorceress, who keeps it summer around her at all times, a Helpful Reindeer and a very confused married couple of Crows.

A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol, an annual holiday tradition, will be presented from Nov. 23-Dec. 12.  Families can have breakfast with Santa Claus on select performance dates, with a festive buffet-style menu complete with seasonal favorites.

The Nutcracker

Full-length holiday classic features eight guest artists, in feature and solo performances; plus more than a dozen company dancers from Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Clara's Christmas Tea Parties at 1:30 p.m. prior to the show for an additional fee. Performances at 3 p.m. Dec. 8-9.

Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical

Santa Deux

Santa hires the highly ambitious New Elf who promises a faster, more efficient Christmas. When Santa and the North Polians can't seem to keep up with these new ideas, New Elf creates a clone of Santa to help out. But this corporate savvy 'Santa Deux' begins automating and downsizing the entire town and threatens the very essence of Christmas. Performances are 1 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday from Dec. 8-30. Storytown

From superheroes to undersea adventures, princesses to dinosaurs, Storytown takes children on an interactive, improvised adventure. The actors use kids' suggestions and ideas to create a different story each week. Kids design the setting and help shapes the story. Runs through the end of February 2013, then moves to Stage 773 in Chicago.

Cinderella

A Christmas Carol

It's the story of old, grumpy Mr. Scrooge and his employee Bob Cratchit, all told from the perspective of the Cratchit family. Scrooge has all the money he could hope for, but his stingy ways leave his loyal assistant struggling to support his family, especially his ill son Tiny Tim. Scrooge is visited by three spirits on Christmas Eve who remind Scrooge what the Christmas season is all about - to bring everyone together for a Merry Christmas. Performances run Dec. 5-21.

Midwinter's Tales

Performance is a celebration of the marvelous, merry madness of the holiday season. Includes lighting of the first candle of the menorah, music from The Madrigal Singers of Grace Episcopal and a visit from the Maiden Street School of Irish Dance. Following the performance, guests are invited to enjoy cider and homemade desserts in Unity House.
