Performance is a celebration of the marvelous, merry madness of the holiday season. Includes lighting of the first candle of the menorah, music from The Madrigal Singers of Grace Episcopal and a visit from the Maiden Street School of Irish Dance. Following the performance, guests are invited to enjoy cider and homemade desserts in Unity House.

A skating rink near Bloomingdales opens Nov. 17 (weather permitting). Hours are Monday through Thursday noon to 9 p.m., Friday noon to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Holiday hours may be extended, visit westfield.com for details.

For Westfield Old Orchard patrons of the Jewish faith a special menorah lighting ceremony will take place at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 8. It will be facilitated by Beth Hillel of the Congregation Bnai Emunah. The menorah will resemble other larger-than-life Magical Moments attractions, in the center's common area.
