This third installment continues the marriage of classic literature to music. Students will be introduced to Blues concepts along with other contemporary music. Playwright J. e Franklin reconstructs timeless fables about morals and values that stimulate critical thinking in a setting filled with music, fun, and laughter. Showtimes are 10 a.m. and noon Monday-Friday from Oct. 29-June 14. Summer performances are June 24-Aug. 2.

Teenage DeShawn goes from making exceptional to poor grades in a matter of months due to the violent death of his best friend and the break-up of his family. Presented in collaboration with the University of Chicago Urban Health Initiative, this performance examines the need to recognize signs of depression in youth due to family disintegration and violence. Performances run Oct. 29-June 14.

Scrooge has all the money he could hope for, but his stingy ways leave his loyal assistant struggling to support his family, especially his ill son Tiny Tim. Scrooge is visited by three spirits on Christmas Eve who remind Scrooge what the Christmas season is all about - to bring everyone together for a Merry Christmas. Performances run Dec. 5-21.

In 1905, newlyweds Jim and Della lovingly sacrifice their greatest possessions and find a holiday treasure in this family-friendly show. Performances run Nov. 17-Dec. 23.

When a broken hearted boy loses the treasured wooden nativity set that links him to his dead father, his worried mother persuades a lonely ill-tempered woodcarver to create a replacement, and to allow her son to watch him work on it. Performances are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday from Nov. 21-Dec. 23. Also have a select number of Wednesday morning matinees at 10 a.m.

Inspired by the classic holiday film, this production is presented as a 1940's live radio broadcast in front of a live audience. It's your chance to fall in love with the story of Bedford Falls all over again. 8 p.m. Nov. 23, 24, 30; Dec. 1, 14, 15; 3 p.m. Dec. 1.
