Von Heidecke's Chicago Festival Ballet performs "The
Visitors become space adventurers and set off on a journey to
discover the Universe in a way never done before. Travel a billion
light-years and back, fly through space, orbit the Moon, zoom into
a canyon on Mars, and soar through the cosmic web where a million
galaxies shower down. The experience was created utilizing real
telescopic data and the best scientific imagery.
Blue Man Group is a multi-sensory experience that fuses
innovative theatrical spectacle and powerful original music with
hilarious comedy to create a performance experience unlike any
other. One of the world's most popular theatrical productions,
today's Blue Man Group is a blend of signature material that has
been in the show since the opening, as well as newer passages that
examine the influence of technology on today's world with a funny
and perceptive look at contemporary communication vehicles.
When a broken hearted boy loses the treasured wooden nativity
set that links him to his dead father, his worried mother persuades
a lonely ill-tempered woodcarver to create a replacement, and to
allow her son to watch him work on it. Performances are 8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday from Nov. 21-Dec. 23. Also
have a select number of Wednesday morning matinees at 10 a.m.
Street Tempo Theatre takes the audience on a seasonal adventure
with singing, dancing, stories, interactive games and non-holiday
specific eggnog. Previews are 3 and 8 p.m. Nov. 15, 16 and
17. Regular run is 8 p.m. Fridays, 3 and 8 p.m. Saturdays and

athletic choreography and a highly inventive percussive arts

Performance of Disney's groundbreaking combination of symphonic
music and animation, Fantasia. Magnificent repertoire from
the original 1940 version and Fantasia 2000, including
The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and
The Nutcracker Suite, will be performed by the Chicago
Symphony Orchestra while Disney's footage is shown on the big
screen. Performances run Nov. 23-25.
