Activities include hay rides, crafts, carnival games, moonwalk,
entertainment, prizes, candy and trick or treating. Or dare to go
through the haunted house. Pre-registration deadline is Oct.
The exhibit transforms seven beloved and
award-winning picture books - "The Tale of Peter Rabbit," "The
Snowy Day," "Where's Spot?" "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie," "Chicka
Chicka Boom Boom," "Abuela," and "Tuesday" - into
three-dimensional, bilingual play and learning environments.
A new permanent exhibit, reinventing the museum's
current "Play Library" exhibit as a pretend bookstore. Features a
reading loft, various reading nooks, and a changing array of
children's books and periodicals. Also includes a variety of
activities to promote literacy.
Temporary exhibit in Habitat Park that consists of
18 child-height stands placed throughout the park, each displaying
two pages of "Leaves" by David Ezra Stein.
Arrives on stage Wednesday, Oct. 23. The performance schedule is
Wednesdays at 1and 8 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m.;
Saturdays at 4:30 and 8 p.m.., and Sundays at 1 and 5 p.m. From
