Young architectural enthusiasts can build model skyscrapers, create new spaces and design the next greatest city in the ArcelorMittal Design Studio at CAF.

PianoForte Family Series: “The Story of Babar”

PianoForte Studios | Chicago, Ill.

Kids of all ages will love the musical retelling of two fun and beautiful French tales. Toys come to life and a cardboard solider falls for a doll in "The Toy Box," Claude Debussy's playful love story. And a classic children's book, The Story of Babar, is colorfully depicted with Francis Poulenc's interpretation of the lovable elephant's adventures. Solo piano with English narration.

Pockets, Seasons, Rhymes & Reasons

Wendy & DB celebrate the debut Children's Music CD "Pockets, Seasons, Rhymes & Reasons" with lots of surprises in the celebration. Along with Wendy & DB with their guitars, Geoffrey Lowe will be on Bass, Dennis Calito on Percussion & Dean Rolando on Piano. A portion of the proceeds will go to VH1 Save The Music to help fund school music programs.

Schoolhouse Rock Live!

Join Tom, a nerve-wracked schoolteacher nervous about his first day of teaching. As he tries to relax by watching TV, various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs as Just A Bill, Inter-planet Janet, and Conjunction Junction.

UniverSoul Circus

Tales and Treasures

Morton Arboretum | Lisle, Ill.

New exhibit showcases 50 rare and unique objects from the Sterling Morton Library's collections. The artifacts include a collection of butterflies that is more than 100 years old, an Eskimo bone carving, original woodblocks, and metal sculptures. Explore a modern cabinet of curiosities, with drawers that pull out and doors that open to reveal objects and interactive games, share your vision of a library in 50 years, and take part in a library-wide scavenger hunt.
