An afternoon of exploring everything that makes winter great. Hike, play in the snow, go sledding, do science experiments and play games, then head inside to enjoy a hot cup of cocoa while watching a snowy movie.
Each camp group will explore the zoo and participate in a variety of activities focused on animal diversity, environmental conservation and the ways Lincoln Park Zoo cares for animals at the zoo and conserves them in the wild. At this year’s “All About Primates” camp, participants will explore the fascinating world of primates, from how they raise their young, to how scientists at the zoo study ape behavior, helping to conserve primates in the wild.
Kids in grades 1-5 can dive into the world of slime and goo to create Galaxy Slime, make a bubbling explosion in a bag and use household and pantry items to create “bath fizzies.”
Join The Kids' Table and The Laboratory for a day of Spy Training. From secret ingredients to secret messages, cryptic codes and clever gadgets, learn to use your spy skills to thwart the agents of evil.
An action-packed day full of Ninja fun and sports play. Michelle Warnky, American Ninja Warrior competitor and ninja trainer, will be there all day to work with all participants and share her story. Participants will have the opportunity to work with Michelle, try a variety of ninja obstacles with Windy City Ninjas, and play two sports with Game On!
