Sunday is also Kids Day, with an array of activities and programming specially designed for the younger Wizard World fans.

The four-day “Grease” themed rock-n-roll carnival helps celebrate the Taft High School’s 75th anniversary and raises funds to restore the Taft Campus and for Norwood Park District improvements. Windy City Amusement provides carnival rides, plus music, a beer garden, food trucks, classic cars and food including cotton candy, funnel cakes and elephant ears to hot dogs, corn dogs, soft pretzels, caramel apples and lemonade.

Exhibit features a child-sized laboratory where kids can explore how scientists impact health and wellness through hands-on, interactive machinery, processes and technology. A demonstration area of the exhibit will allow guest scientists and educators to perform fun and interactive scientific experiments appropriate for young children.
Exhibit highlights the longtime rivalry between the fans of these two storied teams. This cultural history exposé covers all the bases of the crosstown rivalry to examine concepts of loyalty and fandom through videos of each team’s colorful supporters; interviews with former players, sports journalists and broadcasters; and fan souvenirs and ephemera.
Exhibit commemorates the 40th anniversaries of 1970's Saturday morning cartoons that featured positive black characters for the first time in television history. It was the first time that cartoons like Josie And The Pussy Cats, Kid Power and Star Trek featured strong, positive black female characters. It was also the first time that black people like Bill Cosby and Berry Gordy led the development of animated television programming featuring black characters.
